Bryan Brown, age 75, of Cedar died May 15, 2016 at home. A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, May 20th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.
Bryan Kent Brown was born March 13, 1941 is St. Paul to James and Edna (Johnson) Brown. He was raised in St. Paul and attended Breck Academy and then graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School, Class of 1959. Bryan then attended Virginia Community College for one year. On September 9, 1966 he married Lillian Butler in Clawson, Michigan. He was a testing technician and retired from Century Link Telephone Company after many years of service. Bryan loved his wife’s cooking, especially chocolate banana bread, and watching his great grandchildren run around and play. He also enjoyed woodworking, knitting, coloring, collecting trains, his dogs, tractors, eagles, long rides, just being outside, fishing, bird watching, dreaming, motorcycles, being asked for help and volunteering at the food shelf. Bryan enjoyed watching NASCAR (Dale, Jr. was his favorite driver) and The Deadliest Catch on TV. His father was a Marine and he admired and had great respect for the Marines and all members of military service.
Bryan Brown passed away May 15, 2016 at home at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 2 days.
Bryan is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Lillian of Cedar; children, James (Suzanne) Schilling of Henderson, Nevada, Thomas Schilling of Shoreview, Michelle (Scott) Muehlberg of Pine City, Colleen (Nathan) Bray of Iron, MN, Matthew Brown of Cedar; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and by many other relatives and friends.
