Milton W. Tinkham, age 71, of Milaca died unexpectedly April 9, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, April 16th at Strike Funeral Home – Cambridge Chapel. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service.
Milton William Tinkham was born September 26, 1944 to parents Milton and Ethel Tinkham in Berwyn, IL. Milton was raised in Potosi, Wisconsin along with his sister Dolores. Milton attended Potosi High School and graduated in 1962. He married his first wife Carol (Schroeder) Holmgren then attended vocational school in Illinois to become a Tool & Die maker. Milton and Carol had 3 daughters together. He worked at John Deere and FMC for many years as well as owned his own business for many years.
Milton married the love of his life Linda R. (Swanson) on July 24, 1987. Bringing their families together they had 8 children: Yolanda, Rhonda, Jonelle, Missy, Tom, Pete, Mindy and Brad. Milton and his wife lived in rural Isanti county. Milton enjoyed traveling with his wife, spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and cutting wood. He will be remembered for his love of the outdoors and love of family and friends.
Milton W. Tinkham passed away on April 9, 2016, he was preceded in death by his wife Linda R. Tinkham and his parents Milton N. Tinkham and Ethel (Mueller) Tinkham.
He is survived by, his children: Yolanda (Kevin) Dailey of Menomonee Falls, WI, Rhonda (Peter) DeBartoli of Staten Island, NY, Jonelle Nelson of North Branch, MN, Missy (Chris) Golden of Cambridge, MN, Tom (Tammy) Lindblom of Pine City, MN, Mindy (Travis) Hamilton of Milaca, MN, Pete Schintz of Isle, MN and Brad (Amanda) Swanson of Shafer, MN; his sister, Dolores (Bruce) Sorensen of Green Bay, WI; 18 grandchildren and many other close relatives and friends.
