Sandee was like a sister to me. We met when we both were living and working in CA. in 1964. She was always there for me and vice versa. When she moved back to MN we kept in touch at Christmastime. Fortunately, I was able to spend time with her and Lance last year. It was the first time we had seen each other since 1972 but it was as if we never were apart. We decided we would just have to see each other every year from then on. I already had my air fare purchased and we were going to go to the MN State Fair but I guess God had other plans for us. There is a definite void in my heart as she was such a great listener. As we get older we can realize good friends are hard to come by. I thank God for being able to meet and know Sandee!!!! My Mom always thought of her as her daughter and my Mom passed July 30, 2013 . I know she and Sandee are together once again .

I met Sandee when she asked me to babysit for her when she loved in Isanti. She was always fun to talk with when she would bring me home. She also fixed my hair for a couple of major events (for free). She was a special lady in a young girls eyes.

Grandma, you were such a beautiful woman. I know that I got my chattiness from you. :) It still seems unreal that you’re gone. I’m going to miss your laugh and smile the most. You had a constant smile on your face. I hope you’ve been hanging out with Elvis, I’m sure he thinks you’re as cute as you thought he was. Remember, Stacey’s mom has got it going on. ;) love you so much! I’ll always be your Cassalina buttcheek!

Grandma,
You were the most amazing person I’ve ever met! I really do believe that I was blessed with the BEST grandma in the world! You were there for me during my best and worst days, and you were always there to listen! I will forever remember all of the times you’d take me to Costco and Sam’s Club to grocery shop (and get me sick from trying all of the samples), pick me up in the summer to go to garage sales, and just let me spend time with you! I’m sorry that I never got to show you all of the wonderful wedding pictures we received. It breaks my heart, but I know just how much you loved me. I just hope that you know how much I love you and appreciate all of the memories we were able to create! Thanks for helping shape who I am Grandma, and thanks for showing me what unconditional love is. I hope that I too, can love as much as you did. I will miss your beautiful smile and infectious laugh. Please watch down on our family and remind is of you! Love you Grandma, and remember, this isn’t goodbye it’s see you again! XOXO
Your granddaughter,
Diana (Boo)
