Alma Vik obit photoAlma Vik of Isanti died August 23, 2010 at her home.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, August 26th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti with Father Jose Edayadiyil as Celebrant.  Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. 

Alma Frances Vik was born November 7, 1919 in New Munich to Henry and Anna Wolbeck. She was raised and attended school in Mahnomen. On December 21, 1944 she married Alf Vik in Norfolk, Virginia while Alf was serving in the Navy. After Alf’s service they moved to Mahnomen and then moved to Blaine in 1955. They moved to East Bethel in 1979. Alma was an active member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti where she served as an Eucharist Minister and was a member of the prayer line. She enjoyed gardening, her flowers, crocheting, cross stitch, sewing and reading.

Alma Vik died August 23, 2010 at her home at the age of 90 years, 9 months and 16 days.

Alma is survived by her husband, Alf of East Bethel; two daughters, Coral (Allan) Newcomb of Andover, Susan (John) Beulke of East Bethel; one grandson, Jeffrey Newcomb of Andover; one sister, Edna Vik of Mahnomen; and by other relatives and friends.
