In Memory of Betty Friedrichsen
Betty Friedrichsen, age 69, of Stacy died on August 22, 2010 at Cambridge Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 28th at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. A time for visiting will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery in Williams, Minnesota at a later date.
Betty JoAnn Friedrichsen, “Snooks”, was born November 13, 1940 at Cass Lake to Wallace and Betty Mason. She was raised on a potato farm at Graceton and graduated from Williams High School. Betty then attended Glamour Beauty School in northeast Minneapolis. Betty lived in Stacy, rural Isanti, since 1982. She worked as beauty operator for several years. Betty also worked at Linwood Terrace doing both maintenance and office work for many years. She loved fixing things and doing outside work. She also did stained glass, enjoyed crafting and designing things.
Betty Friedrichsen died August 22, 2010 at the Cambridge Medical Center at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 9 days. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Wallace.
She is survived by daughter, Stephanie Friedrichsen and grandson, Kyle Friedrichsen of Bettendorf, Iowa; mother, Betty Mason of Baudette; brothers, Ross (Bregetta) Mason of Hamburg and Kent (Julie) Mason of Williams; sister, Dianne (Randy) Turner of Roosevelt; special friend, Janet Tepley of Stacy and family Evan (Kim) Tepley of Braham and Chris (Terry) Swanson of North Branch and families; and by many other relatives and friends.
I am so sorry that Betty passed. She became a real friend in all the many, many years I went to the Looking Good “Saloon” for hair care. Even though Jan was my beautician, Betty and I shared many a good laugh and lots of teasing. I will miss her like a member of my own family. Hope she is having a Michelob Light in heaven where she surely is.
Dear family to Betty
I am so sorry to hear of your great Loss. Betty was so funny! And always was thinking of the next yoke og trying to do a trick on someone and we would all get a big laugh! :) I remember how Betty and Jan would always make Halloween spesial at the trailer park, they would go all out on the decorations. I remember also last time I was out at Betty`s and Jan`s house. Jan had to work at Lookin Good, but Betty wanted to show her garage. It was the most thought out garage ever. Everything you would need, refrigerator (for the beer) and tools in sheds (all in its place) and not to forget the sitting group with a half umbrella. She really like that idea, you got to have umbrella for a sitting group, even inside the garage. :)She will be missed!!! Love Molly
My thoughts and prayers go out to the Mason family as they go through this difficult time. Remember Snooks will always be with you in the fond memories we hold in our hearts.
Oh, the stories you could tell about Snooks. She had a sense of humor like no other – ever the practical joker. Her smile was infectious and so was her love of life.

So sorry to hear about Betty. I just loved her and her wonderful sense of humor. How she liked to joke and play tricks. Remember the parties at Weber (well kinda remember) and the theme nights. Betty and Jan would be there dressed in the appropriate attire for the event. Blues night, Old West night and of course, Halloween. She was the same honest person whereever she was. Lookin Good has been like family. Loved to smooze and catch up on all the events.
Jan, sorry I cannot be there Sat, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Betty and Jan. The only way we said the Lookin-Good Shop was Jan and Betty together not just Jan and Betty. Jan and Betty were the greatest with people and were really wonderful to my mother. My mother never missed a hair appt. or to be with Jan and Betty. Thank-you for all the good times. So sorry about Betty. Cathy Carlisle
