Tony Arnoldy obit photoTony Arnoldy, age 63, of Isanti died June 5, 2010 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 11th at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH in Isanti with Rev. Phil Gotsch officiating. A time for visiting will be held from Noon until the service at 2:00 PM.  Isanti VFW Post with be providing military honors.

Anthony Paul Arnoldy was born June 25, 1946 in Minneapolis to Donald and Shirley Arnoldy. His family moved to Blaine and he graduated from Anoka High School, Class of 1965. Tony then joined the Navy and served from 1965 – 1969. After his military service he lived in Florida and then moved to Minneapolis. On August 14, 1971 he married Shirley Johnson and they have lived in Isanti most of their married life. Tony was employed by Onan-Cummins in Fridley. Tony especially enjoyed his grandchildren who brought him much happiness. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. His interests included hunting, bowling, scratch-offs and his car, Suzi.

Tony Arnoldy passed away June 5, 2010 at his home after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 10 days.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert.

Tony is survived by his wife, Shirley of Isanti; 3 children, Angie (Kirk) Marthaler of Shafer; Joe Arnoldy of Isanti and Jeff Arnoldy of Isanti; 3 grandchildren, Alyssa and Blake Marthaler and Conner Arnoldy; and by many other relatives and friends.
