Joe Harmon Jr obit photoJoseph Harmon, Jr, age 46, of Isanti died unexpectedly at home on October 9, 2009. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. Visitation will be one half hour before the service on Thursday at church. Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Joseph Anton Harmon, Jr. was born August 27, 1963 in Minneapolis to Joseph and Eileen Harmon. He was raised in the Minneapolis area and graduated from Wayzata High School. Joseph served in the Army from 1983 – 1986. He was in a committed relationship of 20 years and married Elizabeth Ann. They lived in Denver, Colorado and then moved to Becker, Minnesota. In 2004 they moved to Isanti. Joe was employed as an over the road trucker for Magnum Trucking out of Fargo, North Dakota. He loved the road but loved coming home more. He loved playing with his young children. Joe was an avid Viking football fan, loved watching movies and he also enjoyed fishing.

Joe passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 9, 2009 at the age of 46 years, 1 month and 12 days.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Ann of Isanti and their three children, Joey, Stephanie and Tommy; father and step-mother, Joseph and Barb Harmon of Melbourne, Florida; one brother, Brian (Nellie) Harmon of Okinawa, Japan; three sisters, Laurie Bearden of Blaine, Mary Beth Foresman of Minneapolis, Jessica (Dan) Summers of Rogers; and by many other relatives and friends.
