In Memory of Phyllis Arlene Rogde
Phyllis Arlene Rogde, age 80, of Ham Lake, died on May 1, 2009, at her home. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 5th at 2:00 P.M. at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel. A time of visiting will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Phyllis Arlene Rogde was born January 22, 1929 to Louise Docksteader in Thief River Falls. She was raised and lived her early years in Thief River Falls. Phyllis was employed at the Hopkins House for 25 years. She made her home at Ham Lake since 1975. Phyllis especially loved the visits from her children and grandchildren. She was a generous person who loved people, she also enjoyed gardening and animals.
Phyllis passed away unexpectedly on May 1, 2009 at her home at the age of 80 years, 3 months and 9 days. She was preceded in death by her mother and by one sister, Doris. She is survived by her three children, Chris (James) Brandberg of Isanti, Mark (Christine) Rogde of North Branch, and Georganne Rogde of Coon Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don (Betty) Causin of Anoka; and by other relatives and friends.
I am so sorry to hear of Phyllis passing.. She will be deeply missed.. I used to live across the street from her and still would visit with her when we were in the neighborhood.. She was always a great neighbor and could guarantee a smile when you would see her..
