Eugene E. Page, age 79, of Isanti died April 28, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, May 4, 2009 at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel with Rev. Valerie Brown-Greenly officiating. A time of visiting will be held from 2 – 6 P.M. on Sunday, May 3rd at the chapel.  

Eugene Ernest Page was born December 23, 1929 in St. Paul to Ernest and Celia Page. He was raised and attended school in St. Paul. On October 1, 1950 he married Violet Ryquist in Wyoming, Minnesota. They moved to rural Isanti in 1962 where he has since made his home. Eugene was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti. He was employed as a shop foreman in a garage and later was an over the road trucker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and bowling.

Eugene passed away on April 28, 2009 at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 5 days. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet in 2001 and one sister, Barbara.

He is survived by his two sons, Kim (Lori) Page of Oak Grove, James Page and Annette Nelson of Isanti; two grandchildren, Randy and Tami Page of Oak Grove; sister, Ceil (John) Rezanage of Sonoma, California; sister-in-law, Ruth (Martin) Lieberg of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and by other relatives and many friends.
