Anderson, age 65, of Isanti passed away April 18, 2009 at her home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 23rd at Stanchfield Baptist Church with Pastor Dale Cope officiating.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 22nd at Strike Funeral Home – Isanti Chapel.  Interment will be in Isanti Union Cemetery. 

Judy Mary Anderson was born May 31, 1943 in Isanti to Lawrence S. and Edith Okerstrom. She was raised in Isanti and attended Cambridge/Isanti Schools. On October 17, 1959 she married Don E. Anderson. They made their home in Isanti near the home where she was born. Judy worked at the Brass Rail in Grandy for over 38 years. Judy enjoyed listening to and playing music, flowers, boating and fishing. She was a spur-of-the-moment person who just enjoyed going for rides.

Judy M. Anderson passed away on April 18, 2009 at her home after a battle with cancer at the age of 65 years, 10 months and 18 days.  Besides her parents she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julierae; one sister, Nellie Lindberg; two brothers, Lawrence S. Okerstrom, Jr. and Roger E. Okerstrom; son-in-law, John D. Larson.

Judy is survived by her husband, Don E. Anderson of Isanti; eight children, Debbra A. Dawson of Isanti, Sandra J. Larson of Cambridge, Chris D. Anderson of Isanti, Todd E. Anderson of Isanti, Rick B. (Dana) Anderson of Cambridge, Scott L. Anderson of Pine City, Dawn M. (Brandon) Bergman of North Branch and Troy J. Anderson of Isanti; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, George (Thelma) Okerstrom of Mountain Home, Arkansas, Gerald Okerstrom of Swatara; three sisters, Eunice Belden of Minneapolis, Dorothy Roberts of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, Janet (DeLorne) Linder of Swatara; one sister-in-law, Sylvia Okerstrom of Minneapolis; and by many other relatives and friends.
