Doug and Vicky,
I met Jolley in High School and followed her around for ten years on foot with our thumbs out, seeing the country side and getting to know ourselves and each other. Alot of people came and went in the last thirty years since we met, and I am ever greatful for being part of her life. Two months ago when Jolley came to see us in South Dakota, I feel was a gift from God, because I got to say I LOVE YOU once last time. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and always will be. She loved you so much, Doug. And Vicky, thank you for being who you were, more than a sister! Deb Fiebelkorn in Watertown, South Dakota

I will miss my aunt Jolley so much. I did not see much of her as I got older but I loved her dearly. What I remember most about Jolley is getting HUGE easter baskets full of candy as a child, a ton of presents at Christmas and my first car when I turned 16! Oh and I also remember being glad my mom wasn't the only one with crazy hair! Jolley spoiled me and I loved every minute of it. Jolley was generous and loving and I am grateful for my last visit with her. Although I did not get any physical presents I got the gift of seeing her at peace, sharing a few stories and pictures of my children and giving her one last hug.

I remember the time Deb and I visited Jolley to drop off my old favorite ballon tire Schwinn bike (a piece of junk) to leave with her when we left for Africa. She appreciated what it meant to me and promised to take care of it. I am sorry that our move to Africa meant I could not know her better. Blessings, Greg Snell

Dear Doug,
It is at times like this that anything I say is inadequate to express the loss of my sister and your wife. I feel very lost and helpless being so far away in Africa, and hope you know that I loved my sister Jolley very much. The grief I feel at last having seen her a year ago and now no more is shared and matched by the grief I know you feel at having lost your great love and friend. Her life with you was a great gift to her and I know she found a family that brought her great joy and love. I will be there with you as I participate with all of you in a celebration of her special life on Thursday at the memorial service, wishing it were possible for me to be there in person. My thoughts and prayers are with you Doug, as you go through the next days and months without Jolley but rejoice in her freedom from pain knowing she is at rest. We all must do that...
Wishing you and your family that Jolley loved so much peace and comfort in the days ahead,
Debbie

Her friends at the Buckhorn Resort on Spectacle Lake all think Jolley was a very special person. We enjoyed her company and spent many hours together in the sunshine, on the beach, at the campfires. Quite often we shared food together, she made the best blueberry pie, strawberry rhubarb jam, & lots of other goodies. She was good to everyone, loved her home, husband, cat and friends. We all will miss her very much. We love Jolley. Gordi & Jack
