wayne-ebeling-obituary-photo.jpgWayne Ebeling, age 57, of Isanti died unexpectedly on May 10, 2008.  A funeral service will be held at 11:oo A.M. on Thursday, May 15th at Elim Baptist Church in Isanti.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 14th at Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Wayne Mitchell Ebeling was born September 20, 1950 in Minneapolis to Eldred and Helen Ebeling. The family lived in Northeast Minneapolis until he was 9 years old when they moved to Isanti. Wayne graduated from Cambridge High School, Class of 1968. On January 21, 1984 he married Lucille Gillette and they made their home in Isanti. Wayne was employed by A. G. Johnson Printing Company in Minneapolis for 30 years, retiring at the age of 49. Wayne especially loved his grandson and buddy, Bryce. His interests included; hunting, fishing, the car club and his 1965 Chevy Super Sport, playing cribbage, working in his shop, his regular visits to the Creamery Café, watching westerns; working on motors, helping others and plowing driveways.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Lucille of Isanti; children, Jeremy (fiancé Jodel Alvord), Ian, adopted daughter Cinthia (fiancé Eric Nelson), adopted son Erik (wife Lindsey), Melanie and Jeremy; father, Eldred; grandchildren, Bryce, Vaila, Skyler and Sicily; by brothers, Brandon (Susan), Scott (Lisa) and Cordell; by his sister, Leanne (Jeff) Prehatney; and by many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen.
