Synova will long be remembered by the hundreds and hundreds of students at the Windom Public Schools. She was such a breath of fresh air when she took over her library duties with the Board of Education - and we continued 'breathing in' that fresh air for many years. Synova told me her greatest and most wonderous achievement in her life was the day she gave birth to Lisa. Lisa became the adoring daughter of a truly loving woman - a love so enormous she had enough to spare with her colleagues and students.
I am glad she 'walked this earth' and left so many good memories to all who came to know her. Betty

Dear Lisa,
Your mother was very special to the students who attended the Windom School while she was librarian. I can still remember her reading to us on "Library Day" as a very young person. My sister Betty worked in the school office back in those days. Betty visited a couple of weeks ago and you and your mother were in our conversations.

No matter their age or their health, we hate to have them leave us. You have our condolences and sympathy on your mother's passing. She was insturmental in the shaping of many people's lives.
