robert-hanold-obituary-photo.jpgRobert Hanold, age 64, of Braham died February 3, 2008 at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater.  Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 9th at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Braham.  A visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. on Friday, February 8th at Strike Funeral Home - Cambridge Chapel and also 1 hour prior to the Mass Saturday at the church.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  

Robert Gustave Hanold was born June 29, 1943 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was raised and lived his early years in Iron River, Michigan. Bob served in the Navy and Viet Nam from 1962 - 1966. After his Navy service he settled in Minnesota. On January 19, 1967 he married Teresa Ramirez and they made their home in Minneapolis. Bob worked at the St. Paul Ford Plant from 1968 -1998, retiring after 30 years. In 1979 they moved to Stacy  where they lived until 1990 when they moved to a farm in rural Braham. Bob was a member of the Braham VFW Post, the Braham Moose Lodge and he drove school bus for the Braham Schools for 2 years. Bob bowled in Braham for Lee’s Pro Shop and he bowled in Isanti with the Senior League and he also mentored children in bowling in Braham. He enjoyed fishing and doing volunteer work with the Braham VFW. Bob loved the farm and all animals.

Bob died February 3, 2008 at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater at the age of 64 years, 7 months and 4 days.

Bob is survived by his wife, Teresa; 2 sons, Donald Hanold of Minneapolis, Richard Hanold and Missy Anderson of Braham; 2 grandchildren, Paul and Starr; 3 brothers, Gary (Gwen) of Blaine, Gus of Wisconsin, Paul of Colorado; 2 sisters, Sandra (Frank) Phillips of North Carolina, Ruth (Matt) Deal of Texas; mother-in-law, Cleo Nelson of Braham; favorite aunt, Dwortz of Chicago; and by many other relatives and friends.
